Trade Union of Croatian Journalists is hosting European meeting on gender equality and diversity in the Audiovisual sector

On Thursday 30 January a meeting on the topic of gender equality and diversity in the European Audiovisual sector is being organised in Zagreb.

Hosted by the Trade Union of Croatian Journalists in the premises of the Croatian Journalists’ Association, this event will present the results of a European project implemented for the last two years by a large partnership of organisations composed of the International Federation of Film Producers Association (FIAPF), European Audiovisual Production (CEPI), the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the Association of Commercial Television in Europe (ACT), the Association of European Radios (AER), the International Federation of Actors (FIA), the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ), the International Federation of Musicians (FIM) and UNI MEI – UNI Global Union.

Those organisations have been running a mapping exercise aimed at understanding the state-of-play regarding gender equality and diversity in the audiovisal sector across Europe, at identifying good practices, and at sharing those good practices across borders.
